First of all I need to pretence this entry with clarification that the topic I am about to address does not for one second endorse pushy, in your face sales associates that bombard you when you enter their store. I am definitely an independent shopper, I know what colors, fabrics, and styles that I like and am in no way interested in having someone who does not know my personal tastes try to tell me what I am looking for. That said I will now begin my entry.
Over the past year or so as the LuLuLemon craze has climbed to the top of its brand awareness and popularity, I have chosen not only to dislike but to boycott their products. I refused to purchase or wear any of their clothes, let alone step inside one of their stores. Too many people wearing this extremely form fitted revealing yoga wear just did not appeal to me. I didn’t think that their brand suited my style or that I would want to be associated with it. Though I did want a nice comfortable pair of lounge pants.
So over the past few weeks I have been searching out a good pair of comfortable, yet fashionable lounge pants. It is true many stores carry sweat pants and nice ones at that, however for me there is one problem that I continually encounter. Length. Pants are always too short for me. I have tried on several pairs of sweat/lounge pants at a variety of stores however was continually let down!!!
Resulting in my frustration from looking everywhere for a simple pair of black sweat pants, I found myself yes I admit at the new Queen Street lululemon. When entering the store, to my surprise there was a great variety of styles and fabrics of pants (not only the restricting, tight, uncomfortable looking ones). As I walked around it was easy to find the styles I wanted to try on. I admit I was mildly impressed. As I looked around I was greeted by a polite, non pushy sales associate who not only asked my name, but once she had showed me some pants she left me alone to wander freely, ok maybe a little more than mildly impressed. When I walked up the stairs to try on the pants I had selected I was again greeted by a smiling but not over bubbly sales lady who asked my name and then wrote it on the door of my room so that as she said ‘I will feel like the room is mine and I will be comfortable’, extremely impressed. It didn’t end here though, I decided that I like two of the styles but only wanted to buy one on that visit, after deciding on a pair of pants I made my way to the check out where another sales associate greeted me by name, rang my purchase through and gave me a ‘wish list’ with my name and the styles that I had liked best.
I think it is safe to say I am now a lululemon supporter of the strongest kind. That store knows how to make a customer experience the best it could be. And not to mention the quality of their garments is excellent, and their return policy also accommodating. Be sure to check it out if you already haven’t. As the craze dies down, I am hooked.

My entry into the Blog World
Hello Everyone,
Well at long last i have finally created for myself a blog. Over the past few months i have been keeping a list of topics that come into my mind that i would like to write about. Why you ask have i not written about them until now, why have i not been simply writing blurbs about these topics instead of keeping a list. Well there is an excellent answer for this... sad but true... A few months ago my Black and Silver, Sticker Covered Compac Presario 1600 crashed and burned. During the days that followed the crash of my close personal friend the presario i thought that nothing wores could go wrong. This was quickly proven untrue as i learned that i had lost my thousands of photos, along with every essay of the first three years of my undergrad, and the thousands of songs that took many many late night hours to download... alll GONE...Yes the bitterness was intense, but it has subsisded now and i am dealing with the situation... i am however still without a computer. I just happen to have a very sweet and generous boyfriend who will share his adorable little 12" white apple note book with me... Oh yes one important fact i shoud share, since the crash i have become a sole mac user. PC no more... I will never go back... don't think i could handle the loss that a crash brings ever again.
So keep your eyes open, as i will try to post whenever i can get my hands on a computer...
